Brief Description: The Credit Union Department is currently seeking a Deputy Commissioner to join its Executive Leadership Team. This critical role will contribute significantly to the Department’s mission by ensuring that Texas-chartered credit unions operate in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The Deputy Commissioner will be instrumental in evaluating the safety and soundness of credit unions, identifying operational deficiencies, and implementing corrective measures to safeguard their financial integrity. These efforts are vital not only to protect the interests of credit union members, but also to support the broader economic stability of the State of Texas.
Salary: $160,000.00 – $200,679.00
