CUD 26-02: Credit Union Dept Deputy Commissioner

Brief Description:  The Credit Union Department is currently seeking a Deputy Commissioner to join its executive leadership team. This critical role will contribute significantly to the Department’s mission by ensuring that Texas-chartered credit unions operate in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The Deputy Commissioner will be instrumental in evaluating the safety and soundness of credit unions, identifying operational deficiencies, and implementing corrective measures to safeguard their financial integrity. These efforts are vital not only to protect the interests of credit union members, but also to support the broader economic stability of the State of Texas.

Salary: $160,000.00 – $200,679.00

CUD 26-03: Administrative Assistant

Brief Description: The Credit Union Department is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its Administrative Operations Team. The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the Compliance Analyst and performs a wide range of advanced administrative functions. Responsibilities include processing complaints and examination reports, as well as reviewing departmental correspondence to ensure accuracy in grammar and punctuation. The role further extends to assisting the Agency Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, when required, by disseminating incoming information, maintaining organized filing systems, and managing departmental data. In addition to these core duties, the Administrative Assistant may contribute to the training of new employees and, on occasion, assume responsibilities associated with other positions on a substitute or as-needed basis.

Salary: $48,511.00 – $53,723.00
